If you have trouble with the low strings…..
I use a pt-2 to tune my yamaha bass. I removed one of the rubber pads off the clamp because (duh) rubber is a good sound insulator. Works much better.

This is the WORST tuner I have ever owned. It is insensitive and inaccurate – a piece of junk and a waste of money.
